Star Wars figures in a jar

I'd been keeping my Star Wars figurines in a jar for years. Yeah, these were the first-edition figures. They were getting sticky and they were giving off some kind of gas as you can see in the jar. So I sold them off online for $20. I didn't think anyone would buy them. But I got a few offers in 10 mins. I sold them to a guy who came to pick them up from me at my place. I thought he'd gotten a bad deal. Multiple buyers asked for the next few days, "Did you sell the jar yet?" Apparently, these first-edition figures were worth more than I thought, even in the state they were in! Oh well, I have photos to remind me of them now.
