A comic diary focusing on others

 

There are so many ways to do a comic diary. I don't like just sticking to one formula. Where is the fun in that? In this one, instead of focusing on me, I decided to focus on what each of my family members have been doing. 1st row- my daugther. 2nd Row- my son. 3rd row- my wife. I liked this practice because during a week, I can get so wrapped up in my own busy-ness and this helps me take time to notice and appreciate those around me.

Drawn with a Sailor 1911 Zoom nib fountain pen with Baoke black carbon ink and watercolours. I've been trying this an an alternative to Platinum carbon black. It is waterproof and cheaper. It seems to hold up under washes. Though in my first few tries, I seem to notice that it take a bit longer to dry before it is safe to add washes over.
