Dear Drewscape, I want to thank you for making so much of your work available, I can’t get enough of it! (I specially LOVE your sketchbook tours! I really hope there are more of those on YouTube in the future!) You’re a great source of inspiration, especially because your work conveys a sense of playfulness, spontaneity, and freedom that I really miss in my own art. I’d love to ask you: on average, how many hours a day do you spend drawing? I love that question because I think it reveals a lot about the effort and dedication behind the art we admire so much. Best wishes from Mexico!

Hello Di, sorry I didn't see this comment till now. I don't really quantify it because I draw for both work and play. I think how I end up drawing everyday is that I make it a point to always have my sketchbook and pens with me in my bag. It makes it easy for me to reach for it and also to put it away at a moment's notice. Also having good reasons for drawing that I believe in helps. I like drawing to explore new ways to record to world. To see the world in a different way. And I like to use it to record my daily life. Each person would have to find their own reason.
